How to authenticate this pressing

Specific verification cues for this exact variant.

The text on the rim, "Manufactured under license by Jugoton in Yugoslavia," clearly indicates the record's publisher and country of origin. Jugoton is a Yugoslav record label based in Zagreb. The rest of the text on the edge of the label is in English: "All rights reserved by the manufacturer and owner of the recorded work. Unauthorized public performance, broadcasting, and copying of this record prohibited."

The number LPSV-P-407 is Jugoton's Yugoslav catalog number, completely independent of the pan-European numbering system for the album Let It Be, 062-04433, which is found on records produced in Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Italy. The number LPSV-P-407 itself clearly indicates a Yugoslav release.

Yugoslavia released Let It Be on a black and yellow label with the Parlophone logo and the letter "£" in a yellow circle at the top, rather than using a typical green Apple Records label. This clearly distinguishes the Yugoslav release from the entire continental release of this album. Below the logo is the formula "Reg. Trademark of the Gramophone Co. Ltd.", and to the right of it the symbols "ST 33" and "STEREO".

Historical context & other notes

On the left side of the label, next to the publishing credits ("Northern Songs" and "Harrisongs) there is the abbreviation "(OZAP)" of the Yugoslav copyright organization. It played a paralel role to GEMA on the German edition, BIEM on the French edition, or S.I.A.E. on the Italian edition.
