The distinctive feature of the Argentine edition of this album are two abbreviations placed on the left side of the label: "SADAIC" and "AADI CAPIF". AADI CAPIF is the Argentine association that represents performing artists and phonogram producers, both national and foreign, in the collection and administration of royalties. Although SADAIC primarily represents Argentine musicians, our organization also manages the rights of authors and composers from other Latin American countries.

From the main release
The songs on the album are a compilation of tracks from the first five Dire Straits studio albums, some of them in shorter versions ("Private Investigations", "Money For Nothing", "Brothers In Arms"). The CD edition also includes a live version of "Telegraph Road" (11:58), which didn't fit on the vinyl.
