A timeless disco anthem. Released in 1979, this energetic track features ABBA’s signature sound, a captivating beat, and the powerful vocals of Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad.
Despite being one of ABBA’s most popular songs, it was, surprisingly, never released as a single by Polar Music in Sweden. Polar released the single in Norway, Denmark, and Finland, but did not make it available in Swedish record stores. Stores therefore imported copies of the British version from Epic Records.
Madonna’s song “Hung Up” uses samples from this track, for which Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson gave their consent.
