Comfortably Numb

No Top 50 list would be complete without a song from *The Wall*—after all, it’s one of the greatest albums in history. Pink Floyd fans generally agree that “Comfortably Numb” is the best song on the album, and incidentally, one of only three songs written jointly by Roger Waters and David Gilmour for the album (Waters dominated the rest). Two brilliant guitar solos and two distinct vocal parts tell the tragic story of an artist named Pink, buckling under the weight of fame, tired, exhausted, and forced into constant performances.
