From the main release
This is the very first album on which The Beatles perform (only on two tracks: A1 and B1).
Tony Sheridan, who performed in clubs in Hamburg with the Beatles, was discovered by producer Bert Kaempfert and signed with him to record. Sheridan recorded several songs with the Beatles but mostly recordings without the Beatles filled out this album.
Because of the huge Beatles' success the material has been repackaged several times.
The band members of the Beat Brothers were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Pete Best and Stuart Sutcliff.
