Love Songs album contains 25 the most popular love songs recorded by The Beatles between 1962 and 1970. It was released October 21st, 1977 with early pressings shiipped with a simulated leather cover.
The audio had the left and right channels reversed, apart from "Yes It Is", "This Boy" and "PS I Love You", which were fake stereo mixes.
Capitol Records planned to issue a single to promote the album with song "Girl" on side A and "You’re Going To Lose That Girl" on side B, but the release of this SP was eventually cancelled in October 1977.
