Why this pressing matters

Tollie Records was a small American record label that operated for only a year. It was founded in February 1964 by Vee-Jay Records and closed in May 1965. During that short time, it gained fame by releasing The Beatles singles in the US.

Historical context & other notes

This version features studio musician Andy White on drums and is recognizable by the tambourine played by Ringo Starr. An earlier recording featuring Ringo Starr on drums (without the tambourine) was released in 1962 in the UK and only in a few other countries.
