Why this pressing matters
The original Spanish pressing used the British cover, which had a sticker added to the back printed with the text: "Bolsa Importada Disco Fabricado En España" Mod. 2.503 - R. Dep.Legal B. 7.194 - 1967 - Gráf. Román."
Historical context & other notes
From the main release
A Collection of Beatles Oldies was released in December 1966, four months after Revolver. It contained sixteen songs recorded between 1963 and 1966 and it was the first time the singles "From Me To You", "She Loves You", "I Want To Hold Your Hand", "I Feel Fine", "Day Tripper", "We Can Work It Out", and "Paperback Writer" had appeared on a UK album. The only previously unreleased song was "Bad Boy", which had been recorded in 1865 for the Capitol Records album Beatles VI and It was included in this compilation create a reason for fans to buy the album.
