How to authenticate this pressing
Specific verification cues for this exact variant.
The very first pressing features "no-dash" matrix numbers: XEX 447 (Side 1) and XEX 448 (Side 2).
** Later 1964 pressings typically have a "-2" or higher suffix. True early copies have a 2.75" (70mm) 'deep-groove' pressing ring on the labels, characteristic of the RCA Smiths Falls plant. Also, the very first pressing had a jacket with 10 mm wide curved inner seams (i.e., inner seams inside the cardboard jacket, where the cardboard folds over). Second pressings from 1964 onward shifted to a straight-cut inner seam.
