Vinyl Nostalgia 
In December 1968, representatives of the Prague-based publishing house Artia (which also dealt in foreign trade) signed a contract in London with EMI granting them the rights to release EMI records in Czechoslovakia. Thanks to this agreement, Supraphon released the album “A Collection Of Beatles Oldies (But Goldies)” as early as September 1969—historically the second Beatles album to be released in Eastern Bloc countries before November 1989. In the photo on the left is a clipping from a British newspaper featuring a photograph capturing the moment the contract was signed.
